I drew inspiration for “Man and Wife Unholy Matrimony” from my own life experiences and the encouragement of my boyfriend and father of my child. I wanted to encourage my readers to think with a broader perspective while exploring the depth of sensitive themes of gender roles, domestic violence, and racism.
